It's a must, IMO, if you want to be successful. Most people have a problem with it psychologically..."i'm taking a loss". Try to look at it differently. I'm limiting a larger loss AND my trade didn't go as planned. When the trade goes as planned, you should be rewarded handsomely. If not, no big deal but don't be stubborn or "wishful"....it just didn't work out, so it's the price of doing business (as the saying goes). No pain, no gain.....but who needs large amounts of pain? A little goes a long way and should be plenty!!

Here's an extreme example, you can burn yourself by simply being near a flame. Do you need to "see your flesh burning" to know it's hot and you should move away from it?
