When is the last time you used Siri? What about Google Now? The speed at which the voice query products are evolving is amazing. A couple years ago, some even argued Siri was ahead. It was flawed, but still nice. GN had advantages and disadvantages. But if you haven't tried the latest iterations of both, I urge you to. GN is nothing like it was just a year ago...the speed and accuracy of the predicted and pushed content (for those who allow it) is scary. Putting it in a Tesla (or any other car) dashboard would be stunning. If Apple invests heavily in improving Siri, it could be similar, but their challenge is they don't have as deep of info about their users. It's precisely what freaks some people out about Google... they perceive it as a privacy concern (even though it's completely voluntary and secure), but it's also what allows the product to read your mind and tell you what you want to know before you even request it.
