Aaron,

I got a copy of the report and spoke with the analyst. He didn't sound very knowledgable. You probably noticed the statement that the current quarter is back-end loaded and depends on "several large orders that are expected in December". That doesn't sound good to me, with the way things are going these days it wouldn't be surprising to find OEMs delaying orders. As I recall, RAID recorder sales won't really come into play until next quarter, that's the only product that I'm aware of that the market has been waiting for.

For what it's worth he seemed to feel it would be important for the company to make its numbers this Q, from a credibility standpoint.

I think the best thing they could do with the $6.71 per share in cash is buy back shares. They have no debt. Even if they only bought back 1M shares ($12M), they could raise EPS and valuations significantly while losing only a little interest income and still have $24M leftover.

Stuart.
