I watched every second! We got lucky when our sweeper accidentally dropped a bit of sand from her pocket before Maria Wennerstroem took her shot! :-)

Hell, the best skill takes a bit of luck sometimes. They won every match, after all. Great on them!

Like in shuffleboard, curling professionals could take unlimited money off any fool foolish enough to gamble with them. A shuffleboard master could spot most players 15 (out of 21) and win virtually 100% of the time. The Jennifer Jones Team could probably spot most club curlers a 13 point lead and win virtually every game in a ten end game. The skill factor is so high both physically and mentally. It is not for nothing that curling is widely referred to as "chess on ice".
