Please, please,please, at least sell the warrants. Do not throw money away for the sake of spiteing the company, for you are cutting your nose off in the process. Take what proceeds you can get from the sale of your remaining warrants and take a cruise or something. Sell them and give the money to charity, or amongst the homeless. If I told you there were 2- $1,000 bills lying out in your back yard, I'm pretty sure you'd go out back to pick them up, and not let the wind blow them into the neighbor's yard.
The strategy I would follow if I was in your shoes would be to hold 100 warrants right up the the last minute, (literally) in case there was a last second rush to buy to cover. The other warrants would be sold, and the tax-loss taken, ( you have to sell in order to get the tax loss), and I would put the 3,000 X 11/16 in my pocket.
Please re-consider.
