The scariest sound that a perp can hear is that of a shotgun being chambered.

That's the legend (of course you just gave away tactical advantage by letting everyone know where you are and what you're carrying) - and in a standard 3 round pump shotgun - you only have two shots left since you didn't have one in the chamber already. You'll need spare shells and reloading is slow - compared to a high cap mag swap of the 92FS. Of course my Kel-Tec KSG holds 14+1 rounds of 12ga - just need to remember to switch the tube selector over after 7 shots - that gun now goes for about $1000 - so not your typical home defense price range.

Had a Beretta 92FS - but sold it - seemed bulky and clunky compared to the Glock 17/19.
