I couldn't get that link to work but i found the article and am reposting link. I hope this will work if others experienced the same problem

I think it points out the potential that is there but I was distracted by the several points that came out of "left field" such as the insinuation that STM will want to adopt INVNs manufacturing technology. I think INVN was the one infringing on manufacturing technology to start with so it is really INVN that now is not encumbered. Of course the author states that too but though we know little of true suit issues, it's clear now INVN must have had a weak defense for the allegations. STM may certainly move on too now without threats of reprisal for any technology that may be in a grey area regarding INVN patents

A second one is that he claims INVN is pursuing their packaged SOCs as a result of buying ADI. This is completely false as INVN developed all this internally based on its own product evolution.

Otherwise acquisition speculation is always interesting and INVN is seemingly free from the IP encumbrance; however, we don't know that. I'm guessing there are conditions associated with the IP regarding M&A although I am sure they would not represent the hindrance that an active suit did.
