it is an accessory - an additional device - you need to carry (albeit on your wrist). It still requires a smartphone in the pocket to be very useful. That said, the combo still has appeal for some applications, such as working out, medical monitoring, etc., but will only sell well at a low price point.
Your conclusions are really only conjecture. Your conjecture on what an Apple wearable device would offer in functionality appears to be based on what exists to date. It isn 't clear what your conjecture on pricing is based on but, without a clear view on the extent of the functionality that will be offered, it is just another negative opinion.

Your "analysis" reminds me of the critics in 2007 who could only see a smartphone as Motorola and Samsung had defined it from 2004-2006. You're not alone in that type of thinking but, it isn't worth anything.
