Just finished reading this book. Excellent one. Just goes to show what poor reporting, reporting based on ideology can do. I am sick of both MSNBC and FOX insulting our intelligence. We can decide. We don't need their opinions. We just need for them to report the facts. Notice how these two networks do the thinking for us or least they think they do for some of us.

You must be so engrossed in ideology, that you are oblivious of events around the world such as Ukraine etc. I don't blame you since I don't see that much being discussed in the US. After all, why should they. The MIC does not have to gain anything like they do with Egypt, Tunisia etc.

The author is a right winger who wrote this book during W's tenure. What he said then is very true of the right wing today. Consequently, we have the ideologues going at the throats of one another while just watch the stupidity. It was FIX News then espousing the views of the right wing. Now we are having MSNBC join them espousing the views of the opposite end of the political spectrum. And we have their anchors being forced to resign for incendiary remarks. Haven't heard such dismissals for CNN reporters/anchors.
