I think the Oct98 estimate is what is coming into question. Cos w/ rock solid Es are getting even higher P's. S. Korea simply isn't gonna be getting financing for new equipment for a while. And to spend heavily in the semiconductor area w/big overcapacity and prospect of Asians dumping at very low dollar prices is gonna strike many as unwise. Including in USA. Just my 2C. Doug
