I can't recall the breakeven #, but I seem to remember 300,000 from somewhere assuming 100 minutes use per month, but don't quote me. the thing about competition that everyone seems to forget is that there isn't any! There will be no option. This service is for those who want communications but do not have an alternative. Remember that. Where there is cellular, it will be utilized. Where there are land lines, they will be utilized. G* is for those with no other option. If you take year 2002 numbers where 3 million subscribers are assumed to generate $2.6 billion in revenues, that works out to $869 per subscriber per year. If we take average wholesale of $.45/minute, you get around 1900 minutes annually or 160 minutes per month, or 5 minutes per day.
