It seems that you are outlining the key dilemma in trading: % wins vs avg gain/loss. Expanding stops a bit (if mechanical) probably expands % win while maybe adding to avg loss reducing average win/loss - not definite. A $0.01 stop creates 100% losses or thereabouts with tiny losses. But a 2-3% stop? A 1% stop? Of couse, when I take the loss, immediate flips occur. If I stay in, the wrong-way move accelerates!! Lol. Jon
