some people look at housing as an investment. I was just saying that 10% is not so amazing, compounding is amazing.

So? try compounding the stock market.

It was expensive back then, its expensive now. It did better than inflation as other investments have. Overpriced? probably, in 1972.

I just thought the original comment lacked perspective, thats all. no biggie.
