That sucks. Time machine should have backed you right back up.

I trust no one. I have a mirror image of my hard drive, and a partition with my really important info on a drive separate from the drive holding my Time Machine disk, in a fire resistant safe.

But this debacle shows what is REALLY important. People are FALLING over themselves to upgrade. The hue and cry is deafening.

Its a black mark on Apple even though their OSs are probably safer than anything except the other UNIX flavors.
