The political reality is that hard core GOP voters don't care or can't understand what the truth is The GOP strategy, as Sioux correctly pointed out, is to put as many of these lies together as possible, much as Romney did, and hope that there is a sufficient body of single issue, ignorant voters to get over, with the assistance of course of Koch Brothers billions for media saturation, voter suppression and straight gerrymandering But the original claim of Republicans running on a platform of lies is fairly easy to establish, given a modicum of intellectual honesty, where there is actual intellect of course
