Something I should note, while the response on message boards/comments sections is almost universal disappointment to the S5, the people that have actually had hands-on time with the handset have generally been impressed. It seems that Samsung has made a more thoughtful device in terms of software as well as the overall "feel" of the handset.

We'll see how that plays out in the marketplace over the next few months.
