Mr Velmer, You are right, the two releases are different.
Mr Velmer says: "If you would read the release in detail it is easy to conclude that the release is quite different and quite informative than the release that was released yesterday." As far as being "quite different" and "quite informative" relative to the previous nearly identical release, I would beg to differ. If you would read the releases, it is quite easy to see that only three sentences were added which related to shares outstanding and predicted eps. Albeit, it is important info that "real" investors should know, it would have been presented much better if it were included in the previous release, instead of us having to fish it out of the same stinkin' info.
Mr. Velmer says: "Don't complain if a company want to expose and release accurate information inorder for smart investors to be fully aware of all info inorder to make the smart move."
I think it is wonderful that the company wants to keep "smart" investors informed. Since you are a self-proclaimed "smart" investor, wouldn't it be logical to take into account what may happen with this stock including the possibility of attempts to pump and dump the stock? I am not saying that this indeed is happening, just that it is good to be vigilant when it comes to stocks that trade otc. Surely you don't think that such things could never happen.
Mr Velmer says: "Real news for real investors--This will allow this stock to get to a level that it should be at more quickly."
Oh, and I am sure you know that there are market makers who love to short a stock that has such a huge % gain over such a short period of time, which would actually slow down a stock's price arriving at the level "it should be" regardless of news releases.
Mr Velmer says: "It helps very little to talk about things concerning this company if you are negative.. This situation is a winner and in our opinion, with time the rewards will be huge."
So by that rationale,I guess if there may be negative information about a company, you would disregard it since "it doesn't help to talk about negative things". This ignorant, closed-minded attitude will only end up losing you a lot of money. Go ahead and keep your blind faith. You may make a lot of money on this stock or you may lose money. In the long run however, you will lose your ass. Good Luck!
I also feel that it is good to have a devil's advocate on a thread to keep people such as yourself on the level. There is nothing wrong with taking all information into account, instead of just selectively choosing information that fits your own agenda. A devil's advocate would hopefully let the other investors on this thread make their decision with all info, instead of taking the attitude that "ignorance is bliss". Last time I checked this is a free country so I will continue to post as I wish, negative or positive. |
