(Dow Jones)--Dell Computer Corp. (DELL) will use C-Cube Microsystems Inc.'s (CUBE) ZiVA DVD Decoder for its new Dimension XPS DS series PCs. In a press release Thursday, C-Cube said its ZiVA single-chip DVD decoder lets PC makers and original equipment manufacturers offer customers audio/video playback. C-Cube said its ZiVA SecureView copy protection technology guarantees that Dell's DVD -based products will play all CSS copy protected DVD titles.
