Except for the fact that providers will work out a payment plan for you, good point.

And they will Last year, I had a lithotripsy for a kidney stone and later the same week I slipped in the bathroom, fell and broke my arm. Between my deductible and my 20% I hit my out of pocket max. all at once. Which I didn't have, but I could pay it off monthly. Which I did.

So even her explanation doesn't hold water.
