Oh God I wish we could make that bet! Every roof is different, every slope is different, every angle to the sun is different. So the Robot drives up gets out climbs up on the roof with the solar panels. They are going to install the solar panel in a way that the roof doesn't leak and they they are going to run wires down the wall some place and install all the equipment AND then hook it all to the power box? Hey robot, find that power supply yet? It's in the broom closet. You have to take out all that shit to get at it and then tear into the wall to hook it up! Hey robot, did you do it in a way that is safe and won't burn the house down or shock the power technician and kill him while he is fixing a power outage a half town away? And patch it all up when What did the housewife say when you walked in to start looking for the power panel? You really see this as doable? Don't fall off that ladder robot? Don't tear the roofing while dragging the solar panel? Oh gawd, this is hilarious. Seriously, this is what you think is threatening American jobs?

And you think by designing such a robot - it would be a net destroyer of jobs? And should we move on to my next infrastructure job creator; rapid transit across America - built by robots!!!!!
