My robot wouldn't. It would never leave the ground, using a cherry-picker like arm to do all the work after driving itself to the job, with all the solar panels and gear. Roofs are pretty much all the same, other than pitch and orientation to the sun, easily calculated. It might deploy small robots to do the finer work on the roof. I can see this happening very soon. Then, the electrician robot would hook it to the power.

You don't have much imagination, do you? You're picturing a robot like this?:
