it is a high stake game hope will be settled peacefully. Remember Putin has Varangian body features a offshot of warying Vikings not exactly nice people, he is definitely not a true Slav. Slavs are warm friendly hardworking nation.
One must remember Crimea does not belong to Russia - it is Tatar and before Khazar/ with Greek settlements.

The Tzar and more so Stalin deported the Tatar to Asia, and committed same war crime with the Azerianian people slicing Azerbaijan in two ceding part of Azerbaijan with Tibriz to Iran.

Today the world is fretting about Hitler but IMHO Stalin and his political allies where worst than Nazi Germany only not as effective.- the difference is that most extermination camps where liberated for all to see the atrocities and horrors, but the Stalin era gulags, closed or disappeared without the photographic evidence or people free to tel their horror stories. Most perished from being summarly shot for all kind of imaginary "sins" or overwork hunger and maladies

To get a taste of Stalin cruelty - Russian prisoners of war liberated by the Allied forces where send to the gulags to perish, as they where traitor not fighting until they would have been killed by the German - or did not commit suicide when captured
