Charles, seems some of us who have "hung-in" with GOE through the events of the last 7 months are finally seeing a few rays of light coming from the end of the tunnel. It's a long overdue signal to come out of hibernation. The next quarter may just be the beginning of a whole new era for GOE.

I see nothing wrong therefore at this point in having what some might call speculative discussions on various "what if" scenarios associated with GRNO. Totally agree with you that the company, given its recent history, must itself be quite deliberate in how they go about officially (and unofficially) releasing information. But as individuals we certainly aren't under the same constraints. Pick virtually any thread on SI and you find that nearly 75% of the content is speculative in nature. Aren't those of us here entitled to the same freedom of expression in terms of what we might discuss on this thread? Or do you feel perhaps that given the recent SEC scrutiny there should be some sort of tacit censorship here to avoid a possible revisit by the SEC again. Just trying to understand.

It certainly isn't the province of the SEC (or any other govt. agency) to tell you or I as individuals what we are allowed to think, nor limit our ability to express our views in this wonderful open and free society of ours, assuming of course what we say is legal. Maybe I'm naive but I still believe in simple justice and acting in such a way that a different standard of behavior applies to GRNO and not to the hunderds of other securities/companies that are discussed daily on the internet goes a bit too far.

One of the great things about SI and other INET sites is the ability of investors to become better educated and acquainted with the specific companies they choose to invest in. Meeting other shareholders and having the opportunity to discuss subjects of common interest using this venue I feel is simply terrific. As much as the government might want to turn back the clock, make the communications capabilities of the internet disappear, and return to the days when the flow of financial information is once again limited to just a few powerful information outlets (like Dow Jones), is just not going to happen (thank god). Information is going to become more and more realtime and eminate from a thousand sources. Headaches for the regulators, certainly. Subject to abuse by the dishonest among us, certainly, but the right to know is more important.

I'm feeling a lot more comfortable these days with the processor in continuous operation. Better days are coming, at least I see reasons to believe so. But there seems little reason to limit our discussions here to "just the facts". Exploring each others motivation and reasons for investing in this company and what we might be expecting in terms of future performance are common discussion topics and half the fun of using SI. As long as we stay away from unsubstanciated statements or "hype" there should be no harm done.

John
