Addendum to post New Post: True Story(Early 1966) My Great Friend Bob Fraser was a devout Quaker and he was trying to have me commit to being a Quaker( Philadelphia was founded by Quakers led by William Penn)
I said Bob " I can NOT take an absolute pledge to NOT fighting .I am a situationalist; variables/exception always exist" That night I had a POWER DREAM which means I right now can call it up in my mind's eye and view again and the relive the experience.
It was night we were on a slope to a train track that a train was approaching, I was watching intently, and then gave a signal to a man holding a plunger.(I was clearly the leader) A bomb exploded tearing up the train track, the train the engineer then pulled emergency brake and came finally to a halt just before it hit the ripped up track. It was thus halted, and we wer all beside the train---we were wearing black face grease and black clothing and carried weapons and had machine guns in place to take action.
I then yelled out "Action!!" and the gunners swept across the top of the train killing the German Gunners atop the train; we then went movement and necessary action to release all from the train carrying thousands to The Concentration Camp. At this point a mental voice arises--I quote true to what it was--I am not a verbatim quoter. " To NOT fight when the innocent are trapped by Evil is an act of Self-Righteousness and is BUT a vacuous vanity to achieve PERFECTION" I add, we were independent operators, we carried no flag, nor lotalties to any government, we were acting on by rule of conscience and not by any government leaders.
