I'm going to expound on my 'cyclical' post a bit:

The actual sequence is this:

A. Commodity is in demand.
B. Companies start jumping on bandwagon, STOCK PRICES RISE
C. Earnings are Great! We are on top of the world! The stock
will rise forever! This is a new growth industry!
D. Glut occurs
E. Earnings warnings, STOCK PRICES FALL
F. Earnings come in terribly, Companies file CH11, severe writeoffs
G. Supply dwindles, stock is at 52 week low, ALL IS TERRIBLE
H. Go back to A.

Notice that the time to buy is at time 'G', NOT 'C'! People who
confuse these stocks as growth stocks, buy at 'C', then complain
about it...

One more point about IOMEGA. The people who lump Iomega with WDC,
QNTM, etc.. just absolutely crack me up. And the above reasons are
why...
