i am actually viewing the developments w/ studying start-point, because

(i) should what is happening be a replay of history, then certain course of actions are called for

(ii) should what is happening be out of ordinary, then other actions may need to be tee-ed up

the issue is we cannot and must not take what the media announce as the truth, and if so, discerning the truth shall take time.

for example, if certain segment of the ukraine society was gunning for joining the eu / a.k.a. nato, and another segment not caring for same, the separation of the two groups would be natural and least costly in terms of blood

otoh, if the entirety of ukraine society or close enough majority count wished for some outcome whatever the outcome, and outsiders intervened militarily, would say such outside interferers must be stopped lest they try for same over and again which would tend to lead to disaster, or so history taught us.

i do not know the truth about what is happening in the ukraine.
