Both Baker and Kaplan's pieces were interesting and intelligent, thanks for posting them. I hope Obama doesn't fall in the same trap that Carter fell into when the Iranian embassy was taken over. And that Putin just accepts the same kind of ascendance in the Crimea as he did in South Ossetia, and doesn't make an issue over the rest of Ukraine. These world politics games are so so assinine. Little boys playing like they are Big Boyz. And all the while they are just stupid petty assholes. Like Rove said, they are "making history while the rest of you just react to what we do." Oh goody--they are such Big Men.... Will the massive stupidity ever just end?
