Yes. At least $3000 according to this m.research.stlouisfed.org As Jesse wrote, fair value is derived by dividing total money stock (M0/base) by total gold stock. So, gold should track base, since total gold stock does not change that rapidly. I mean, over the long term, when it overcomes obfuscation by GS and ilk.
