I think I'll do the same. Probably I should disable AVG so I don't have two virus checkers competing with each other. My problems are not over. Firefox has some kind of illness which causes it to open several replications of itself with a blank screen. It started launching tiny screens and hid them just barely inside the right margin where I could only see the left edge of it. I just now disabled a whole bunch of add-ons on firefox and removed some if I didn't know what they were. I think they were put in by malicious intent.
