A friend just got a new PC with Windows 8.1, it wouldn't work with her printer, monitors wouldn't set up right. Microsoft support messed with it for two days finally gave up. She took it back to the store and picked up a refurbed Windows 7 PC for $250 bucks. I like Windows 7 just fine, works great. I like Macs too but they don't work well with my trading software.
