NEWSTRIKE CAPITAL RETAINS MINERA IR TO PROVIDE INVESTOR RELATIONS SERVICES
Newstrike Capital Inc. has employed Patrick Piette of Minera IR Inc. as manager of investor relations. Mr. Piette will be responsible for marketing and shareholder communications, as well as the development and implementation of an investor relations program, which includes enhancing the company's exposure among industry stakeholders and investors across Canada.
Minera IR is a Canadian full-service investor relations firm, specializing exclusively in the metals and mining industry. Under the terms of the agreement, the company will pay Minera IR a monthly fee of $5,000. Neither Minera IR nor any of its principals have an ownership interest, directly or indirectly, in Newstrike Capital.
Possessing a combination of expertise in both finance and mining, Mr. Piette is a financial communications professional with 15 years of capital markets experience and relationship management with key members of the investment community.
Prior to founding Minera IR, Mr. Piette worked in the mining group at TMX Equicom, where he provided IR counsel to over 20 companies during his three-plus years. He also worked in equity research, mergers and acquisitions, and advisory services at RBC Dominion Securities and CIBC World Markets. Mr. Piette is a graduate of Concordia University and is a chartered financial analyst.
