Don't think Riely will get the answer for you but here is another reference to the acquired companies. Not many of them left. <g>

You may have the movie rights.
Also, we may want to make a movie of RMIL/OVIS and show all of the sordid details of the previous companies.
Public filings show that in the past 2 years Olympus acquired eight troubled companies by issuing restricted shares. The names of these companies are CEA Lines, Inc., Caribbean Charters Ltd., Olympus Mills USA, Ekrhen Corporation, KOKO Wear Inc., Nelson International, Baron's Internacional SA, and H&D Fashions.
Between July of 1995 and July of 1996 Olympus' management issued large blocks of stock to themselves and others for "services". The company's independent auditor determined that the shares issued for services had a market value of $8,693,233. In addition the company's auditor determined that the losses on the eight acquired companies totaled $9,583,256.
Example: Olympus Ventures acquired H&D Fashions and Baron's Internacional by issuing restricted shares. If these shares were not restricted, they would have been worth $14,000. Olympus then put these companies on its financial statement at $925,349 which is $911,349 more than Olympus paid.
Hmmm!, I wonder if the IRS knows? |
