Do you live in a cave in some 7th century culture, where they think atheists are bad people? Do you think atheists are bad people? The ancient Greeks that outlined morality and democracy were pretty much atheists. They were called the pagans in later years. The church managed to vilify them. But what those pagans (ancient Greeks) really were, in actuality, were the big thinkers of all time. Atheists like Thomas Jefferson, Washington and Franklin built this democracy we live in. I am an atheist, but I am also very spiritual in that I think being kind is what the universe values in a person. How the universe values a person. The universe values any person who understands compassion and I will bet dismisses the mean people as not ready for prime time! Including the mean religious folks.
