But if you could find the urls for the studies you have in mind which are the basis for your point that denying benefits for out of wedlock births would decrease those births such that it would justify the obvious suffering it would cause, please do so.
There are none--as you must know. We can't study what doesn't exist. There may be some that speak to what happened after we 'reformed" welfare. But you are the researcher here and more apt to be able to speak to these.

All I know is that th stats I've seen sow ever rising levels of out of wedlock birth rates over the last 50 years (as a percentage). I don't think that is a good thing, not in moral terms, but in terms of producing people who can function ads adults. So I want to change this.
