Thanks for posting. This is Exhibit "A" for how America was lost,
or whatever alphabetical letter anyone wants to give it.

We draw a false comfort from the article, to an extent,
because it focuses it's story on an old retired man. The
awful truth is that it is not just old retirees who think this
way, it is multi-generational.

I know few want to make the comparison, but we used to
wonder how could a generation of Germans have lost their
minds pre-WW II, and how they could so firmly hold to the
most ugly of beliefs, and proceed to act on those beliefs,
and commit the most horrible crimes against humanity ever.

I'm not saying history repeats, but it is sure beginning to
rhyme.
