First the bad news: Took a second look at the NOVL chart. If NOVL breaks $7 3/4 on the downside, then I think we are heading to $6 3/4 - $7 and that in my opinion will the best christmas gift ever. It is where I believe the strong and all mother of support lies.

Now for some mode bad news: The 50-day moving average lies just a tad over $8 3/4 and is on a slight declining slope. Lets hope this stock makes a move towards the average and flattens it out.

Finally the good news: Brainshare '98 is fast approaching (March, 1998) and we all know what that means...that's right a rising stock price during that week . So if you have not bought enough by then, buy it on the Friday preceding Brainshare '98 and sell it the day the Dr. makes his speech.

I still expect the stock to strike within distance of $12 1/2 by February, 1998. Anybody care to speed up the process and start a takeover rumor ?

Joe, if you are still with us, what's taking you so long barging into those blue pin striped suit buddies of yours ? I contacted another IBM'er here in Canada and he tells me that IBM has no intention of taking over NOVL and never did when that last rumour surfaced. He tells me it was probably some other company. SUNW perhaps ?
