Bush and Putin were great friends. Obama and Putin have never liked each other.

You conveniently forget about Obama's "reset button" diplomacy.

Bush was criticized for antagonizing the rest of the world, including Russia. That was the premise behind Hillary giving the Russian foreign minister a red "reset button." She wanted to tell Russia that the Obama administration is supposedly a lot more reasonable than the "bull in a china shop" that was supposedly the Bush administration.

We now know that this diplomatic strategy by Obama was a dismal failure. But the fact that Obama tried runs counter to your attempt to rewrite history and paint Bush as a "friend of Putin."
