washingtonpost.com The follow up to that is just fascinating. I actually talk to kids, hungry kids. Kids who ask me for food. I feel sure they don't care where the food comes from- they just want to eat. Kids want love and kids want food- but the two things do not need to come from the same place. I don't love the chef of my favorite restaurant- but I really like eating there. I know the kids I teach who are poor are just like me. When they want to eat they want something good and filling- and they aren't worried about the love that went in to preparing it. They just want food. Republicans- so out of touch they don't understand that.
