How old are you??? 26 and working like a dog! You are the genuine American who does and who cares. I love reading your posts and hearing about the things you and your family are doing. You asked how we were doing. Well for one thing I have been mountain climbing over papers here and there, dust, and the idea that I may possible just use the oven again one of these weeks. If I slip and fall, family will have to hire six cleaning ladies to try and find me :) Soon... there will be help here 2 to 3 times a week for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours a time to help shower Joe and do a few odds and ends. It isn't that showering is hard to do, it is just something that is time consuming as we move from powerchair to shower chair etc etc... I do truly like being able to help him however the family has been screaming at me GET SOME HELP... as he is now considered 100% handicapped. OK OK... I actually fought with them, but I am listening and Joe would like me to do so and maybe see his wife smiling again. The family have been filling in when I have had surgeries and this will help the whole situation. If we don't like her when we meet her (she is on vacation) we don't have to have her and can continue to interview others. This is a bonded Christian company and everyone is thoroughtly... thoroughly checked. We have met the owner and our daughter knows him/them. Our son returns from his vacation - meeting friends - going on a cruise - meeting other friends and now coming home. It will be wonderful to see him and hear of his time away. The very good thing is that he left unwell and is now well... cough, cold, stomach pain.... all gone... he beat us... Joe coughs anyway a lot of the waking hours because of the flem (short for phlegm:) caused by the disease... but I was coughing until older son got me some Ricola... that worked... now I am hearing.... MOM it isn't a candy... OK OK I know that, but it worked and my throat isn't sore anymore hehehe So life is good... the ice and snow are about gone. We have someone returning to do a little more work tomorrow both inside and outside the home. Someone else will be repairing the ceilings and wall from the snow freezing on the roof.... in the not to distant future. They have many many people who had similar trouble. So you see... our adventures differ a bit from yours... in fact we don't even have a grill anymore... but Life is Still Good!!! and I am so very grateful!
