Ok, so I called the company today. Peter Dworkin called me back. He was pleasant enough and willing to explain. I read all the news that comes out about Matrix, so much of what he said was redundant (and surprizingly consistant with my reading). He put emphasis on the restructering and spoke of the importance of bringing in Mr. Casey. He made absolutely clear that no more effort or money would go toward Accusite. That producing it in America did not make it cost effective to market in Europe.
As we know Intradose is in 3rd stage. They are still in the screening stage with (some/all?) patients. they are doing a four part research for Intradose with the emphasis on head (mouth, tongue etc.) and neck tumors. The other studies chest wall, mellanomas, and I don't remember the other.
Mr. Dworkin was the person who represented Matrix at the investor conference. My impression was that I put more importance on those conferences scheduled for the next period of time then he did. Matrix is 40% held by institutions.
And now to the meat of the call. another year will be needed before Intradose will be presented to the FDA. And by the way a different segment of the FDA than Accusite was presented to. Accusite went to the Dermatology department and Intradose will go to Oncology.
One last bit of information. There are 114,000 cases of head and neck cancer a year in American and Europe (I suppose that are relavent to Matrix).
I have made an effort to make my reporting factual rather than opinion.
Biowa as you can see there is no money references in this and that is because I didn't ask anything about finances, Oops.
