I just know that this is different than the 3400 OTC-BB stocks which Nasdaq may drop soon. Also this is not the same as the new regulations for Nasdaq small-cap requirments, which are to trade at $1 or more by Feb. 28th or be moved to the OTC_BB. BUT they have had this proposed sence Dec. 1995 and have not done it yet, I believe the Nasdaq could be open for mulitable lawsuits if they kick a bunch of stocks off just because of "PRICE". If a company meets small-cap requirments of a net asset of 2 million, and are fully reporting, why not let investors decide the stocks price? There are many stocks which trade under a $1 on the NYST, but they met the other requirments.
I agree they need to clean up some scam companies, but to lump every in the same pot just because of stock price is stupid in my opinion.
