This is pointless as far as the slavery issues goes. You haven't read the research and don't know anything about it. Instead you choose to make assertions about something of which you know not. Your point about "Robert's" seems to be, as best as I can make out, that it is not fair to treat the issue one way for one "nominee" and not the other. OK, it isn't fair. Happy? And regardless of the fairness of it it still doesn't speak to the issue of the "political" reality that is facing the Democratic Senators who voted against Obama's nominee.
