Really, why would S3 bounce back in January?. If all is successful, their new product line will contribute to earnings 3Q98. Seems to me that one can easily wait until after 1Q98 conference call. GJ is going to get torn up at that time, if he is still around. The book value argument only holds up if S3's new products are bought to market at reasonable margins and high volume. Until then, a good book value only means that the patient won't die, just bleed a little longer. Not short, just watching and waiting. Digital video is the ticket, not sure if S3 can execute... Mark.
