That is simply untrue. Not even close.

As an 18 year old you'd hardly have found a bigger pothead than I was. I was arrested for felony possession of marijuana at the time, but for no other reason than my dad was great friends with the prosecutor and the sheriff, walked away with no criminal record and no felony charge. Had my dad not had these friends, I would have been convicted of a felony and gone to prison and never had the opportunity to lead a productive life (in fact, prior to sitting for the CPA exam I was confronted with the absurd question of whether I had ever been charged with or convicted of a felony, which would have stopped me dead in my tracks).

DON'T TELL ME THAT BULLSHIT. I know WTF I'm talking about. Mitch Daniel knows, too.

A person convicted of a felony today will have no chance in life. The poor bastard cannot even vote to change the law he broke, which is as unconstitutional as anything you can find.

This is the reason people are abandoning the Republican party. HYPOCRISY. While I like some of the Republican agenda, the hypocrisy and counterproductive nonsense is just too much.
