This would be a total disaster for LNG exports. Jones Act ships have total costs approaching twice that of foreign built and crewed ships. Cloaking it in national security is just a cover - the US is no more or less secure if we build LNG tankers here or in Asia, and no more or less secure if we crew them with expensive US crew or cheap foreign crews.
