I am pleasantly surprised that you presented a Russell article that concluded with: The most frightening part about all of this the fact that the Government finds it acceptable to lie to us about everything. The U.S. Government has become as corrupted and self-serving as was the old U.S.S.R Government that many of us grew up fearing. The lack of fear about what has happened in our own backyard is truly stunning. Yes! There is indeed a lack of fear. It is due to American arrogance and hubris giving rise to the perennial feeling that there is no problem however big America can't solve and no debt so huge America can't pay back. Little do these Americans realize they are in for a big shock ! The lack of fear also stems from the fact that some Americans are essentially a herd of sheeple that is docile, naïve and apathetic, and the others are couch potatoes. And both groups are too spineless to react against the dishonourability, dishonesty and irresponsibility of their government. However, take heart ! From many indicators, it would appear that gold and silver are set to rebound big time before long.. Good Luck !
