I wonder what our ability to build such ships is.
US shipbuilding capacity is certainly limited, but LNG tankers are one of the few types of ships where we can be competitive. The more complex a ship is, the less labor costs matter. The US should never build another large tanker, but we can be competitive in extremely complex ships.
