Russia is already using commerce as a blunt instrument - cutting off gas supplies. The EU and US had better learn to act in kind and in unison quickly.

Putin started this nonsense under George Bush with his invasion of Georgia.

I have my doubts that Bush would have cancelled the missile defense system that had been planned for Poland.

If Putin isn't stopped now, he will continue to pick off the weak Baltic states.
