Why is our culture based on the beliefs of "goat herding Hebrews" and not Assyrians or Egyptians?

Did you know Hebrew is written in the proto-Canaanite/Phoenician alphabet (dating back to the 15th century BC) that the Greeks copied when then learned to write? Yes, the Greeks learned writing from the Phoenicians. Aleph became alpha, beth became beta, daleth became delta.

Oh btw, remember the stupid claim that there weren't any camels in the ME when the OT was written? The Phoenician letter, gimel, is the word for camel.
