This Old Testement is "wannabe old testament" for wannabes then and wannabees now.It was all penned in probably no farther back than 300bc, the archaeology you just posted proved my point. What little archaeology they really have, which is not much. There are purposes & reasons men create stories & myths,aggrandizing themselves, much like puffed up lizards, moths & certain birds & mammals. We see it all the time in Nature,we see it all the time with men.
(average Iraelite/Hebrew in 600bc was a goat herder or a potter at best, even less chance he could read or write than a peasant in germany 12th century, Moses, Noah, Solomon, David ,Abraham as much fiction as Greek Hercules.) |
